Just Keep Climbing

I’m thinking of using and setting this up to keep all my loved ones, friends and business associates up to date as I undertake another adventure…and another attempt to climb Mt Everest.

When recounting memories of my last attempt in 2005, I can still taste the bitter pill of disappointment. The tragic circumstances and logistical errors that lef us 300 meters from the summit somehow fuel my passion to persue the achievement of my long term goal,

I’m hoping that a successful and safe climb in 2008 will help erase that taste, and be replaced with a feeling of content.

My greatest hope in using this site is to send love and messages to my own family- Nicole, Chloe and Harry. Missing them and taking myself away during this selfish quest…will always be the hardest emotional aspect of the trip. If my messages get a tad emotional throughout this expedition I apologise, but missing those closest to you whilst being on Mt Everest always seems to test the soul.
