Georgie, Fantastic news on your achievement …ie having earnt free beer in a Kathmandu bar for the rest of your life. It’s amazing the lengths you go to for a cheap beer. As you can imagine everyone is extremely proud of what you’ve done and I can reassure you they are even more relieved.
For someone like me who struggles to climb the stairs at home I can’t even begin to imagine the effort required at altitude.
Looking forward to sharing a beer and a few stories when you get home. Sorry I missed your calls inc. the flying duck , The boys were blown away talking to you at 8000 metres.
Enjoy those beers in Kathmandu !!!
